About 61 km from the center of Dubai, visitors can visit Al Madam - an abandoned village being invaded by sand.

. According to CNN, some evidence at the scene showed that people were in a hurry to leave. Many stories are woven about people having to flee from a supernatural force.
The village is not considered a tourist destination when coming to Dubai However, many people are coming here every day to experience the horror and mystery.



The local government has no plans to exploit Al Madam as a destination for tourists. As a result, some locals worry that many visitors will ruin the site if left unchecked.
To find out the real reason that turned Al Madam into a "ghost village", the Sharjah Arts Foundation (SAF) conducted a survey in 2018. A man who claims to be married is a villager of Al Madam. This was built in the 1970s. This person revealed successive sandstorms that made it impossible for people to settle down here.
Most of the houses in the village are open so visitors can easily explore inside Tales of "lethargy" of an evil entity named Jinn caused the villagers to flee.



However, no one had a chance to face Jinn. Besides, many people also blame the goddess with cat eyes - Umm Duwais.

For safety, visitors can choose to rent a taxi for about 80 USD if traveling from the center of Dubai.
Many houses have been almost buried by sand. Given the sandstorm situation in this area, the possibility of houses disappearing under the sand is likely to happen soon.
