Although I have been to Japan many times, this is my first time visiting Japan during cherry blossom season.
Standing in the middle of Chidorigafuchi Park in Tokyo, between two rows of cherry trees in full bloom, a wind blew hundreds of thousands of pastel pink petals in a fairy-tale wind!
Japanese people have a habit of spreading carpet under cherry blossoms for a picnic, or bring a box of food into the park to both watch the flowers and enjoy. The park is crowded but clean of trash, and still has a sense of order and relaxation for the spectators.
In Tokyo, besides Chidorigafuchi Park, there are many other popular cherry blossom viewing spots such as Meguro River, Ueno Park, and Shinjuku Gyoen Garden

This trip, I took the shinkansen train from Tokyo to Kyoto, and then around to the north in central Japan to visit Kanazawa.
My first impression of the ancient capital of Kyoto is that the streets are quiet, quiet and rarely seen tall buildings. Public transport in English is very limited, but you can use Google Maps and Google Translate to travel by train or bus
Kyoto is famous for matcha green tea.



Everywhere you go, you can find pastries, drinks and desserts made from green tea such as mochi, gateau, matcha parfait, just look at it!

Arashiyama is a small town located in western Kyoto, about half an hour by bus. There is a bamboo forest famous for its jade green body, next to it is Tenryuji Temple, the total flock of Lin Te Zen lineage in Japan.

From Kyoto, you can take the JR Thunderbird train to the north to reach Kanazawa, a small coastal city in the north where few tourists know, but has long been famous among the Japanese as a "miniature Kyoto. ”, With its geisha and samurai neighborhood preserved for centuries and the most beautiful Kenrokuen garden in Japan.
Food devotees cannot miss the Omicho Market, which is always ready to serve fresh seafood dishes, especially crab and chirashizushi rice once eaten is unforgettable!
In your free time, take a walk around the street to enjoy the serene beauty of each street, each temple shaded with trees.
In the morning, walking in Kanazawa Castle Park, a rain of snow falls, making the scene more dreamy. Cherry blossoms have not yet bloomed in Kanazawa, but in return, I can see the ancient roofs covered with snow, and the air is cold early spring.

On the way from Tokyo to Kyoto and Kanazawa you can visit many famous Japanese landmarks such as Matsumoto Castle - Nagano Prefecture, Himeji Castle - Hyogo Prefecture where is known as the white crane castle, Lake Ashi with the throne Hakone Shrine - Kanagawa Prefecture by train or car.
By the time I arrived, many places in Japan the cherry blossoms were still in bloom, but the scenery of Japanese temples and castles in the winter weather still makes people passionate.
