Prison Inside Me, a hotel in Hongcheon, Korea, has thousands of "prisoners" looking to rest. They are people who aspire to escape from the stressful daily life.

Since 2013, Prison Inside Me hotel has welcomed more than 2,000 "prisoners". Many of them are office workers, students seeking relief from work, studying stressful in Korea.

. The facility functions like a prison, the guests dressed in blue prison uniforms, eating meals from the strict menu and sleeping in numbered cells.
Park Hye-ri, 28, manager of the startup business program, a guest living at the "prison" Prison Inside Me told Reuters: “My job is too busy, this place gives I feel comfortable. I spent $ 90 to come here within 24 hours, put aside all my work so that my mind can rest and think about my current life
The "cells" are about 5 m2 wide, in addition, the rules in this "prison" are also very strict.



Guests will be left alone in small rooms, dressed as prisoners, wearing identity cards, provided with blankets, mattresses, yoga mats, tea pots, and notebooks.
Before being officially "detained", the "prisoners" will be allowed to walk around the hotel area, with trees and mountains. After that, all electronic devices such as phones, watches, and laptops are recorded. People are not allowed to talk to each other while "in custody".
In the hotel there are staff serving food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything in the "prison" is simplified from living to eating.

Many of the guests participating in this "prison" feel liberated. Many of them, after finishing the holidays here, find their new life better. The co-founder of this special hotel, Noh Ji-Hyang, said the fake prison model was inspired by her husband, a prosecutor who usually works 100 hours a week.
After "leaving prison", the guests will be issued a parole certificate.
