Frédéric Lagrange currently lives and works in New York (USA). He said that he has been in photography since 2001 and that Mongolia is the first country he chose to compose photos.

Over the past 17 years, Lagrange has visited Mongolia 13 times, experiencing the many corners of the country, photographing landscapes and people's lives in this East Asian country in four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. .

“Coming to Mongolia, you will be surrounded by immense, immense heaven and earth. Wherever you look, you will notice that it is surrounded by fields, distant mountains and sky, ”says Lagrange.
During each visit, he and his group of friends were treated to a delicious meal by the Mongolian family.
"The people are friendly and hospitable," Lagrange said.
Lagrange has experienced Mongolia in all four seasons He shared that this place was breathtaking when spring came.




Mongolia is full of life in the summer. In the photo shows a hunter has just captured a ground squirrel and brought it home near Lake Üüreg, western Mongolia.
The steppe becomes more and more stunning when it comes to autumn.
But winter in Mongolia is very harsh. Upon arriving in 2004, Lagrange and his team met a blizzard in the village of Tsengel and witnessed the evacuation of the residents.
While driving through Khövsgöl glacial lake in northern Mongolia, Lagrange met two drunken men lying on the ice surface. “They didn't say a word to us. I wonder what they lay there waiting for, ”he wrote.




By the end of February it is possible to drive on hard enough ice, but sometimes encounter sudden warm winds that cause the ice to melt, and lead to a scene like this car collapsing.
Lagrange was also experienced with hunters training eagles in the village of Altai.
