Located about 120 km southeast of Reykjavik, the Seljalandsfoss waterfall is part of the Seljalands River, falling from a cliff 60 meters high in the middle of a green meadow.




One of the interesting things about this waterfall is that you can walk behind the water screen to enter a small cave.
Skógafoss waterfall
Skógafoss Waterfall is located on the Skóga River on the southern coast of Iceland, quite close to the Seljalandsfoss Falls. Skógafoss is one of the largest waterfalls in Iceland with a width of up to 15 m and a height of 60 m.
On sunny days, visitors can easily see the rainbow under the waterfall.
Skógafoss Falls has been used as the location for filming Hollywood movies such as Thor: The Dark World or The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
Svartifoss Falls
Also known as the "Black Waterfall", Svartifoss is located in Vatnajökull National Park and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region.
The waterfall is surrounded by black hexagonal pillars formed from volcanic lava, similar to the giant's Causeway (Northern Ireland) or Devils Tower (USA)
The best time to take pictures of this beautiful waterfall is in the early morning.




Landmannalaugar
Located in the Icelandic Highlands, part of the Fjallabak Nature Reserve, Landmannalaugar is a great place to see colorful rhyolite rocky mountains as well as enjoy natural hot spring springs.
Jökulsárlón glacial lake
Jökulsárlón is the largest glacier lake in Iceland, formed when the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier began to recede from the edge of the Atlantic.
The lake has an area of about 18km2 and tends to expand due to the melting ice phenomenon. Estimates of the size of Lake Jökulsárlón have quadrupled since 1970.
Diamond Beach
Iceland is famous for its black sand beaches covered with volcanic ash and large lakes full of melting ice. But only at Diamond Beach can visitors admire both at the same time.
The ice that drifted from Jökulsárlón glacial lake into the Atlantic were "honed" by waves before being pushed back into the black sands of Breiðamerkursandur.
The name "Diamond Beach" comes from ice shimmering under the sun on black sand, looking like sparkling diamonds.




Dettifoss Falls
Dettifoss Falls located in Vatnajökull National Park, northeast of Iceland, are said to be the "mightiest" waterfall in Europe.
Dettifoss is located on the Jökulsá á Fjöllum river, the second longest river in Iceland that flows into the Greenland Sea.
Dettifoss waterfall is 100 meters wide, 44 meters high and falls down Jökulsárgljúfur gorge and is the largest waterfall in Iceland, with an average water flow of 193 m3 / s.
Mount Vestrahorn
Vestrahorn is a 454m high mountain, mainly made up of gabbro and granophyre rocks dating back 8-11 million years.
Along with Mount Kirkjufell in Snæfellsnes, western Iceland, Vestrahorn is one of the most photographed mountains in Iceland.
Goðafoss Waterfall
Goðafoss in Icelandic means "waterfall of the gods" and is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland. Goðafoss is 12 meters high, 30 meters wide and is part of the famous "Diamond Circle" tour route in Iceland that includes Lake Mývatn, the town of Húsavík, Ásbyrgi Nature Reserve and Dettifoss Falls.
Kirkjufell Mountain and Kirkjufellfoss Falls
Kirkjufell's "Church Mountain" is located on the Snæfellsness peninsula, about 175km from the capital Reykjavik.



With a height of 463 m, Kirkjufell is not Iceland's largest mountain, but the mountain always receives the favor of many tourists and photographers when standing next to the Kirkjufellfoss waterfall just 50m away.
