The Louvre “version On The Sea” In Abu Dhabi

The Louvre Abu Dhabi (LAD) is considered the "general museum in the Arab world" officially opened in mid-November 2017. After nearly 8 years of construction, at last, the human art world was able to admire the works worth over 600 million euros, along with more than 300 works borrowed from French museums.

The Abu Dhabi Louvre Museum also gives priority to treasures of ancient or prehistoric civilizations and spends only 5% of the exhibition area to display modern art.
Among the top-valued ancient treasures in the permanent collection, for example, there is a 6th century AD Muslim Coran, a Christian Bible in the goth language ( of the Indo-European language family) dating from the 5th century and a Torah Yémen in the Jewish tradition.
The Abu Dhabi Louvre event exhibited at the same time three religious symbols that were important enough to reflect this museum's ambition: to bridge and open up dialogues between civilizations in a spirit of tolerance, open-minded and peaceful. The government of the Arab Emirates wants to build prestige on the artistic and cultural foundation to assert its difference with neighboring Qatar.

Launched exactly 10 years ago, the initial cost of the Abu Dhabi Louvre project amounted to 600 million euros.
