The town of Lübbennau lies in the protected biosphere reserve protected by Spreewald (475 km2) in the southeastern state of Brandenburg, Germany. The town has old houses, a market square with a bakery, a coffee shop, a Gothic church, a cucumber museum…. It is home to honey, flax oil, fruit jam, and most famously, pickled cucumbers. The village of Lübbennau is only 1.5 hours away from Berlin, Germany. Summer and autumn are the best time to travel to this place Spring can have mosquitoes, but basically every season has its own beauty.
