Hanoi 75 is the name of a Vietnamese restaurant designed by a British girl in a bus that is more than 20 years old.

The owner of this bread cart is Cat O’Brien, 26 years old. She had covered the bus with navy blue paint, decorated with fake green trees and yellow light bulbs.
After quitting her communication job at a business, the British girl began traveling around Southeast Asia. “It was very difficult, I really didn't know what to do with myself

. During my time in Hanoi, I taught and lived in a lovely apartment. Since then, my dream of being able to cook all Asian dishes has turned into a strong love for Vietnamese dishes ”, said Cat O’Brien. For this British girl, Vietnam is the place with "cheap and delicious street food"
Returning to England after a long journey, she bought a used bus on an online sales website.



"I was really considering it when I knew the car was 20 years old," she said. Pictured is the car before being designed into a restaurant.
O’Brien manually cleaned the car, conceptualized and constructed. The 26 year old girl was inspired by the word "skoolies" in American. This is a slang term for school buses that have been converted, often into restaurants or accommodation. “They are great but in the UK, we have a two-story bus and it's much cooler,” said O’Brien.
She chose furniture made of wood, typical decorations in Vietnam Colorful fabrics and bricks were bought by her from Hanoi.

A fully furnished kitchen is located on the lower floor of the car. She is also the main chef making dishes for guests. "There are a few great Vietnamese food places in Manchester, Northenden ... but nowhere can I produce the flavor of the bread that I know," she commented.
