The couple Anh Tho - Binh Minh chose to fly with Singapore Airlines, it was 2 hours from Saigon to Singapore, 5 and a half hours in transit, so they went out to have dinner and then returned to the airport. After that, the couple flew to 4 and a half hours to the capital Male of Maldives. On the way back, the two of them only had to transit 2 and a half hours.
Male Airport is quite small, from the plane, a 20-foot walk down the ladder to the gate, there is no bus, no pipe ladder for passengers and many conditions are quite wild. The wife of Binh Minh shared: "I still look wholeheartedly because I am afraid the plane will back in because it is only about 20m from the wall".
Depending on where your hotel is, you know whether to go by seaplane or high-speed train. The couple chose to stay in Amantara, so just arrived at the airport, the hotel staff picked up and took the train immediately The train takes 30-40 minutes to reach the resort.



This resort has 3 islands. Anh Tho Island and her husband resting is Veli Island, only for adults over 18 years old because the villa is right on the sea, the corridors have no handrails, so it is not safe for children.
During the transit in Singapore, the couple took advantage of a crab meal with chili sauce.
From each villa with stairs down straight to the sea, anyone who does not like to go to the beach can just swim and swim around their house. The water is only from the belly to the chest, not deep, so it is easy to bathe, if you like you can swim straight to the shore, 300-400m away. According to Anh Tho's research, the room price in Madives is quite high, about $ 1,000 / night. It is easy to understand because construction is very difficult here, continuous maintenance and tree care is also quite expensive.
One of the rather interesting memories of being in the Maldives of his wife Binh Minh is the somewhat "traumatic" experience with the coffee machine.



“Seeing that there is a high-quality Lavazza (Italy) coffee machine in the room, all kinds of tea, so I cheerfully opened the tap to collect the water to make tea, put it in the coffee machine, but when I drank, I saw both periods. The next morning, when I have breakfast, I talk to the staff that the island water is only filtered from sea water, so even making coffee or tea, I can't help but feel salty. All fresh water has to be transferred from the mainland to all ”, she shared.
The entire resort has 3 islands, nearly 200 rooms and villas with up to 600 service staff, a very high rate of the restaurant - hotel industry. The service here, according to the couple's assessment is "more than excellent". Staff are very enthusiastic and professional. This trip is to celebrate the 10th wedding anniversary of Binh Minh and Anh Tho. The resort side knew the information, so it was prepared from the reception department to the restaurant to the room.




All staff speak very good English, even though it has a similar sound to Indian English. The restaurant at the resort is "delicious" and is highly appreciated by tourists. In the Maldives, with a total of 1,870 restaurants, the resort has 3 restaurants in the top 10.
“They cook extremely well to eat, delicious, especially Thai and Italian restaurants. There is something eating here is quite expensive, about 100 USD / person / meal including water. Beer and alcohol prices here are very expensive. A bottle of beer costs 15 USD, equivalent to nearly 500,000 VND, because there is also a 10% service charge and 12% tax. The couple stayed on the island, did not go to the mainland to play because they loved this place, had enough spa, gym, scuba diving, always took pictures and held celebrations, so there was no need to go anywhere.



I asked the staff, they said Male capital has the Presidential Palace, the museum if you want to visit. We will definitely come back here in the near future, ”said Anh Tho.
