The Artcic Bath Hotel (North Lapland, Sweden) opens in the second half of 2018 and welcomes guests all year round. In summer, the hotel is surrounded by water from the Lule River. By winter, the river surface is completely frozen. This is considered an ideal place for relaxation, sauna and watching the aurora phenomenon
Architect Bertil Harstrom is the builder of this project, while Johan Kauppi is an interior designer
The hotel has 6 rooms including regular baths and sauna. Each room has an area of 25 m2, in addition to a spa area, restaurant, bar and central swimming pool area with open space.
The special highlight of the hotel is the circular swimming pool located in the middle of the main building. The temperature of the water in the pool is maintained at 4 degrees Celsius. This is a special place for guests who want to challenge their own cold tolerance.
The hotel can accommodate 12 guests. Guests will stay overnight in wooden huts of 25 square meters, decorated in a minimal Swedish style
The hotel is designed for guests to have the perfect spot to gaze at the starry sky and the famous auroras. However, it is not easy for you to become the lucky person with the opportunity to use the service here, because the hotel requires at least 6 months in advance.
