In a new study published in Nature Communications, scientists analyzed the genetic makeup of 38 sets of remains The results showed that they are not related, even with different diets.




23 of them were of South Asian descent - namely present-day India, who died in one or more events between the 7th and 10th centuries. Another 14 victims died over 1,000 years ago, most likely the same. a timeline. These people were associated with ancestors from the Mediterranean, which is modern day Greece. Not only that, but the remains of a survivor who died at the same time as 14 people are originally from Southeast Asia.
