My Dinh National Stadium has the second largest capacity in Vietnam (after Can Tho Stadium) with 40,200 seats. The field started operating on September 2, 2003 with the first match between the U23 Vietnam team and the Shanghai Than Hoa soccer club. This is the main stadium that hosts the 2003 Southeast Asian Games, including the opening and closing ceremonies, men's football and athletics competitions. My Dinh Stadium is also the venue for the opening ceremony of the 3rd Asian Indoor Games (Asian Indoor Games) from October 30 to November 8, 2009

Hang Day Stadium is located on Trinh Hoai Duc Street, Hanoi.



Before My Dinh Stadium, Hang Day was the venue for the matches of the Vietnamese National Football Team and the women's and Olympic teams. The new Lao National Stadium belongs to the Lao National Sports Complex, located about 20 km from the center of the capital Vientiane.
