Leaving her hometown in northern Wales, Steph Jeavons sold all her possessions before leaving in 2014, with a Honda CRF250 off-road motorcycle. Four years passed, Steph ended her journey on March 18, at the Ace cafe, near Stonebridge Park station in northwest London, England - this is also her starting point.

Dream on the way
Steph had a dream of conquering the world since a young age: “At 18, I gave birth to Nathan, the boy that was my driving force to dream about this trip. I worked as a mortgage advisor at the bank until 2008, but I decided to change my life and build a motorcycle training school in Wales with a friend to do business.
Within six months, Steph's career went viral when she got a contract with a car company, making the school the largest off-road motorcycle training facility in the UK
It seemed that this woman was satisfied with her life achievements, but her youthful dream was still dull in her.



"In the end I decided to travel across 7 continents after running out of a few glasses of tequila to gather courage," she recalls when she sold out her house and gave up the business for passion.
"This dream will never come true if I do not set a departure date for my 40th birthday, but in the end I leave 2 years earlier than expected," Steph revealed.
Journey of many emotions
This Biker has conquered 80,000 miles during the 4 years, every day on a 6-hour car, going through 50 countries. She likened the trip to a roller coaster with ups and downs.
Once on the road, she realized this trip was really difficult, especially when she came to China, a large country where she needed to hire a guide, to change itinerary.
India is another challenge, with the traffic being pretty bad in the eyes of a Western visitor like her, and every day she has to go in the 40 degrees Celsius sun to the point of getting sick from exhaustion. The 42-year-old chauffeur also became the grandmother of Nathan's baby Alexis, the day she saw a wild tiger for the first time in her life in India
Antarctica is also a "difficult" stage when Steph was warned by everyone that she could not bring a motorcycle.



However, this woman took her motorcycle to conquer the continent on a small boat to cross the famous Drake Pass.

After her inspiring Antarctic discovery, she had no pleasant memories in Argentina. “People in the most dangerous places tell you that the next destination is risky, but I have never really been in trouble. 95% of the people I interact with on the road are friendly and kind, ”she said.
Steph shared that her family and friends were very worried when she went to places like Iran, but every time she stopped, someone invited her home for a meal. "Probably my biggest danger is gaining weight," said the funny female adventurer.




She confessed that she still felt insecure when traveling to Eastern Europe - where she had to manage alone and guess everyone around her. Even so, she believes that attitudes depend on each person's personal point of view when looking at anything.
Behind a woman
Spreading her heart about those who have always followed her journey, Steph said that her family and friends strongly support her, as many of them are also bikers. "People believe but I'm still afraid, they think I know what I'm going to do, but actually I have no idea at all. They love my journey, and are impressed with what happened, ”she said.
Returning after a four-year cross-continental trip, Steph is now almost "empty-handed" when the property is only a few personal boxes in the attic of her parents' house. However, this 42-year-old grandmother has no regrets for daring to give up everything to pursue a trip once in her life.
