Located in the important cultural, administrative and economic center of the mountain kingdom of Nepal, Thamel is known as the Western Quarter of the capital Kathmandu

. During my journey, I gave this place the name "colorful slum".
There are sunset afternoons, the sun drops are very sweet, mesmerizing, I walk slowly, wandering around Thamel's nooks and crannies, immersing myself in the daily life here. The distant land, from culture to people, is very different from the homeland of Vietnam, but it leaves behind me feelings of love, lingering strange
Thamel attracts a distant visitor not by its splendor, splendor, this land attracts from simple things, everyday life.



I stayed here for a long time, I missed my homeland, my mouth was bitter because I wanted to cook, but because I still wanted to explore a lot, my nose kept inhaling the smell of sugar dust, food on the street, staring. strangers and colorful things of this land.
The first image that impressed me the most here was the cramped alleys surrounding the neighborhood and the shops full of typical Nepalese colors. Every land I set foot in, I define the specific color of that place, sometimes there are things that I can only feel, I cannot explain or describe in words.
On the street, old Lungta flags that were covered with road dust were fluttering in the wind in the gray sky. Lungta means wind horse, so it is also known as Phong Ma flag. The people here think that the flag will bring their prayers to heaven and bring good things to humanity
Tourists and locals mingle on the road to create a crowded, chaotic, bustling street scene.



People squeezed together and dust was able to fly through the air. Sugar dust seems to become an indispensable specialty in this country.
Perhaps because of the vibrant diversity of restaurants, hotels and shops, Thamel is also known as the miniature Nepal in the heart of the capital. When the lights were on, roadside stalls began to stock up on goods in the neighborhood. Music from the pub deep in the small alleys resounded, loud and loud.
Returning from the trip, innocent eyes, pure eyes, and faces streaked through the sagging wooden doors occupy the entire set of photos in my journey. In the morning, the kids here will follow the tourists asking for money, begging, nagging until you buy the popsicle they sell.
I miss the noisy street atmosphere, the worried face but always a welcoming smile from the austere Themal residents.



I find myself in the form of a foot-maniac, following the calls of unfamiliar regions to add a new array of colors to my youth's own treasures. Themal is one such color enrichment destination.
