Below is the share of Mr. Hoang Phung Hieu, deputy director of the travel company that once brought guests to Greenland to visit.
Hoang Phung Hieu is in Ilulissat Ice Bay.
From Vietnam, we fly 3 flights to Iceland

. The next flight to Ilulissat, Greenland only had 37 seats and took 3.5 hours. Ilulissat is the place that owns the Ice Bay that has been included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO since 2004, with many attractive tourist activities
The members of the delegation all have a feeling of joy, blending a little bit of recovery, because few Vietnamese visitors have come to this land.

The first day in Greenland, we walked into the Ilulissat glacier bay. On the way, the tour guide introduces this is where the Inuit people (Eskimos) first settled, there are still some archaeological relics like moss houses on the island. Walking for about 30 minutes, in the fresh air, we see in front of our eyes a majestic landscape with close together ice sheets, as large as giant foam. Everyone in the delegation raised their national pride when the national flag was placed on this beautiful land.
The next morning, the boat picked us up at 9:30 to Disko Bay. The ship turned water, hidden in the mist, as if lost in a fairyland. Travel time is about 3 hours
In front of the ship gradually appeared Eqi glacier, like a solid wall of snow.

Occasionally, the sound of ice spilling like thunder hitting our ears, we could even feel the ice separating under our feet.
The giant iceberg was admired for the first time by Hieu.
One of the most unforgettable experiences of the group is watching the icebergs at Ilulissat. The boat has a capacity of about 10 people and is steered by a skilled captain towards the glaciers on the island of Ilulissat. The ice sheets one to three kilometers high make everyone feel dumbfounded and excited. Not yet surprised, the shout of a member of the crew resounded: "Whales, whales there".
We zoomed in in the direction of the thread, a colony of giant humpback whales appeared. From the breath, the curling, the tail wagging to each column of water sprayed into the air of the fish made the group excited.

The ship took us to chase the whales swimming through the ice for about an hour, before returning to the harbor. Until now, we could only see the scene through the Discovery channel. Therefore, when standing at the end of the ship watching the icebergs, whales slowly diving in the fog, I feel boundless happiness.
In the last days, our group walked to visit the city of Ilulissat. This is a small city with a population of about 5,000 people, mostly Inuit (Eskimo). In addition to the surreal natural landscape, this place is famous for colorful little houses surrounded by countless icebergs.
The colorful houses in Greenland.
Greenland houses are painted one of five basic colors: red, black, yellow, green, and blue.

This color system was introduced to easily distinguish houses before the city had street names and house number plates. Near the harbor is a system of seafood processing factories. Shrimp here are caught from the sea and then steamed fresh to other cities or exported to other countries.
Walking around the city, our next stop was two supermarkets, one in yellow and one in blue. There are many goods, but mainly seafood. Prices of goods and service costs in Greenland are among the highest in the world.
It is quite interesting that in this land, we see dogs everywhere. They appear everywhere, from the corner of the house to the street, even on the cliffs along the road.

Local tour guide - Mr. Cristopher told us: “The reason for so many dogs is because in Greenland, there are no roads connecting the cities, the main means of transportation are planes, ships, boats and cars. dog pull ”. Dogs here have thick fur to cope with cold climates, and their health is tough, so they are easily adapted to heavy towing.
Discovering Greenland in July to August, we spent a day longer than ever. Daylight illuminates even when the body is tired and ready for night sleep. In Greenland at this time, it was only dark at 11:00 pm, then from 2 to 3 o'clock it started to light up again.
