Concerned that the big trees might become a hiding place for crooks, architects at that time did not plant trees around the Tam Dai Dien to prevent proper visitors from entering.
Fire precaution
Throughout the history of the Qing and Ming dynasties, three palaces in Tam Dai Dien continued to have a fire and had to change their names many times. Trees in the bow can absorb lightning, making the fire spread and making it harder to control during a fire. For this reason, there are also many large water tanks in the Forbidden City to put out the fire.
Today, there is an underground water sprinkler system and nearly 5,000 fire extinguishers in the Palace. In addition, there is a separate team of firefighters, who check the equipment every day and train along the steps of the wall to remember the way when the fire truck cannot enter.
