The bus ride from the capital to Gilgit takes about 13-17 hours, sometimes much longer if the road is collapsed, waiting to be repaired.
Tung's journey intended to go to the Hunza, Skardu and Chitral regions, but because of the snow, the car could not pass the pass, so he missed an appointment with the Chitral.

“That morning it was freezing cold, I wandered around to take pictures in Khyber village when it was raining and snowing. A boy around 10 years old invited me into the shelter. That day, the family had a mother and 3 sons, the oldest was the other boy, and the youngest was about 3 years old. They invited me to have breakfast with them. It's simply that toast and milk tea in the kitchen are almost inconvenient, but warm and incredibly delicious.
During more than half a month in the country, Tung ate "continuously in prison" with curry dishes, very little vegetables. He shared that almost these dishes are difficult to eat compared to Vietnamese taste.



However, "some tour operators here have started to learn how to cook dishes to suit Vietnamese tastes".
The Pakistani people often take the goats to the mountain in the morning to feed, and then take them back to the barn at night.
Tung pays a lot of attention to photography, mainly about landscapes and local people's lives. On each passing path, he carefully observed everything around him.
