According to Business Insider, athletes and visitors are eager to visit Pyeongchang - where the Winter Olympics is held from February 9 to 25, 2018.
The competitions take place at three main locations: Pyeongchang district, Jeongseon district and Gangneung city (in the same province of Gangwon, Korea).
The Winter Olympics are held periodically every 4 years. This year, the Korean host has built and renovated 13 typical buildings in preparation for sports competitions
According to information from the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Committee, South Korea has spent more than 12 trillion won building and embellishing roads and infrastructure for the Olympics.
It is estimated to have the participation of about 6,000 athletes from nearly 100 countries around the world, competing for 102 medals in 15 winter sports. The two mascots of the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics are the white tiger Soohorang and the moon bear Bandabi
