Physical Therapy

Overview of physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a type of medical treatment that helps a person to be able to move his or her body. You may wonder why we also need help to move our bodies. But if you've ever had a broken bone or a serious injury, you'll know it's hard to do normal things like walking or pitching.
Physical therapy helps people who are injured, or people with physical disabilities like cerebral palsy, to be able to move their body better.
Physiotherapists are health care professionals who are familiar with the movement of the body and how to improve it. Their treatment ranges from babies to very elderly people.
A person may only have to practice physical therapy for one or more periods over a long period of time. During a physical therapy session, the specialist teaches the patient exercise or stretching

This therapy helps increase muscle tone and open new directions for patients to develop.

When children have to do physical therapy
A broken leg is an example of why a child must undergo physical therapy. Before leaving the hospital, the physiotherapist can teach babies how to walk with crutches and how to go up and down stairs. The physiotherapist knows the best way to hold onto the crutches and teaches children how much weight to put on the broken leg.
While learning to walk with crutches, children can wear a safety belt so they do not fall or fall while practicing. The physiotherapist also teaches his parents about using crutches safely on flat surfaces and stairs. It is important that children wear well-cushioned shoes (like sneakers) when wearing crutches.
Physical therapy with toys
Children learn by playing games, so physiotherapists often have toys for children to use
You can see shadows, seesaw, and slides in the kids' physical therapy room.

Physical Therapy

Children should have fun during treatment because sometimes physical therapy requires a lot of perseverance to strengthen muscles and learn new skills.
Some children may only need physical therapy only once or twice, while others may be treated for months. Each session usually lasts 30 to 60 minutes depending on the age and condition of the baby.
